

Police are investigating after a shot was fired into a house in Ballynahinch, County Down, causing damage to the property.
The incident happened in the Windmill Street area of the town during the early hours of Saturday morning, when a firearm was discharged at the rear of a residential property.
According to the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI), the shot struck the back door of the house, causing visible damage to the door and surrounding area.
No injuries were reported and the occupants of the property were inside the house at the time of the shooting.
Police officers attended the scene shortly after the incident was reported and began enquiries to establish the circumstances surrounding the attack.
Detectives are treating the shooting as a serious incident involving the discharge of a firearm at a residential property, and forensic officers have been examining the scene.
Enquiries are ongoing to determine who was responsible and whether the house was deliberately targeted.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity in the Windmill Street area of Ballynahinch during the early hours of Saturday morning to contact them.
