Fire crews arrived at the scene to find the derelict building engulfed in flames. Witnesses described seeing thick smoke rising from the structure, which has been a notable landmark in the area. The pub, known for its long history, has been closed for some time, but the fire has raised concerns about the potential for damage to surrounding properties.

Local residents reported hearing loud crackling noises as the fire intensified. Firefighters worked diligently to contain the blaze and prevent it from spreading to nearby buildings. The Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service confirmed that no injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
