ATL exists to document, preserve, and examine the history and legacy of the Troubles. This space is for questions, discussion, and shared understanding - not point-scoring or re-litigating old battles. The Troubles Q&A is members-only so people can speak openly, ask difficult questions, and share experiences without performance or hostility. Many who lived through the conflict carry different memories and perspectives. All are welcome here if they engage in good faith. This is not a debate arena and not a place for abuse, provocation, or unsupported allegations. It is a space for listening, learning, and understanding how the past continues to shape the present.   ATL moderates to keep discussion respectful, factual, and human.
